The medallion hunt is here again,
A chance for you to prove you're witty.

For you I have one tip in mind,
Search high & low, but stay in the city.
The medallion must be hidden within city limits.

Rainbow's gold is never near,
Each step closer, always one step away.

Am I trying to trick you?
Don't believe it; take a step back and drop from the top.
The capitilized first letters of each line spell R E A D.

Keys are for locks and locks are for secrets,
But this is a key of a different kind.

The hint that I have for you lies with Francis,
It is he with a key that's missing a lock.
Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner, a poem about the American flag. The library proudly flies our flag.

For you I'll make a scarlet beauty.
Savor my sight, but be warned,
My embrace is an unpleasant one.
Where you find me, you are quite near.
The medallion was hidden near rose bushes.
Saturday, January 5, 2008 10:00 AM
I can take you to distant galxaies,
I can show you true love.
I know the knowledge of a thousands of minds past.
Read my lips, treasue is near.
I am a book.
